Using a playful spirit which never abandoned me, I independently made a series of objects inspired by very conventional products: coffee pots, teapots, place mats, lamps, chairs and much more, all exhibiting the lowest common denominator of an ironic, playful configuration. SEAT decided to act as official sponsor of an exhibition to be held in 2002. Mario Guerreiro took charge of its coordination and promotion. The objects were presented at a dedicated exhibition, ‘AutoEmoción’, which was held in Barcelona in 2002, in the reconstructed German pavilion modelled on the famous 1929 installation by Mies van der Rohe
